    it would be handy to know how many pay on the gate at every game and could the club afford to do more knock down prices till the end of the season,the ground has been like a morgue,i think they should really try and push the boat out till may.

    ticket prices are used as an excuse by many, not a reason. i've said this for years. if we're flying, people will find the money. if we're $hite, people won't come if you gave tickets away..

    Might have been better to do it on a Saturday making it a relatively cheap family day out...half 10 is a bit late to be getting home with kids on a school night.

    They should have just made it £5 for everyone. The offer is conditional on knowing a season ticket holder well enough, who will go to that trouble for you. They always seem to be walking on egg shells, trying not to upset season ticket holders, which is a barrier to attracting extra fans on a regular basis. Instead of half baked offers now and again, they should introduce a scheme giving meaningful discounts every game for those who can't justify getting a season ticket for whatever reason. I'm sure they could tailor it so that the saving is still greater for those buying a season ticket.
