No. I just put Hemsy on a global ignore. Not really sure what to do with him to be honest. He can't help himself. He's been warned many times about his vendetta against certain of our players, his constant high jacking of threads and then there's the pack of people who just can't resist biting at his idiocy/trolling depending on your viewpoint. I can understand why but the problem is it's killing this forum. So many people tell me they dont post anymore simply because of hemsworth and the issues he causes.

Anyway. I've given us a bit of thinking time as noone is able to view anything he posts or has posted now.

It's not nice it's come to that, but it's understandable.

I see Supertyke has been released though, good behaviour?

Tough one. I'm quite amused by it sometimes and he has some useful points. It's easy for me to rise above it and just ignore (as with anyone) and people are entitled to free speech.

However, you do have to look at the greater good of the forum, and if someone with too much time on their hands can't moderate their behaviour very very slightly, I can't say I have sympathy.

Perhaps a very stern talking to and a final chance?

Haven't you got some tick box on his account so that when he posts nobody can reply to his threads? He can talk to himself all day then.

You can't just leave him there stewing, theres no Ashes to watch and its pre-season, his mum will be emailing you saying the house is out of toilet roll and the laptops locked on something called Spankwire

wholeheartedly agree. i'm not going to single any one individual out, as most of us have had the odd meltdown on here at one time or another. but the forum has very clear guidelines, which everyone agrees to, when they sign up. there's nothing fascist about it. no one is forced to sign up. if people don't like the rules, don't join. simple

i think the admins show far more patience than most of us would. i would have pulled the trigger on several members a long time ago

    Constructive criticism isnt an issue

Personal abuse levelled at players and fellow posters is, in my opinion.

I used to have the odd go at Hemmsy, mainly about his spelling, grammer and lack of construction in his posts. I've said on a few occasions that with regards to the young uns he can be quite interesting, if you can understand him and that was my gripe with him, some of his sentences were just so uninteligable that I couldn't make sense of what he was trying to say. Then I got a PM from one of our posters that asked me to go easy on him because the poster had met him at a match and thought he was ok, BUT, he also said that he thought he was, how can I put it, not very worldly wise, if you get my drift, and that posting on here was probably the most challenging thing in his life, now, that poster might be right or wrong, so I thought it best to give him a wide berth and not reply to him because as we have seen, he cannot be helped or advised. I tend to read his first post in a thread and from that work out if I want to follow the thread or not, mostly I don't follow unless it's about the young uns. Like I said, I don't know if the guy that sent the pm is right or wrong but I thought it better to assume he is right until it is proved otherwise and with his obsessive posts on Bobby and Luke the balance of probability seem to say he is right.

You just have to be careful, we don't always know a posters individual 'circumstances'. People know his views, so im not sure why they are so easily led to replying on certain issues.

Hemsy is a decent enough lad away from the BBS, I've met him twice(I think).

He certainly doesn't learn from previous mistakes though.
