Who are they?
I think they are Bro’s from what they were saying
Well that shut him up
Got exactly what he deserved, mouthing off, shoving people and getting up in people's faces. These people think they're untouchable until they get laid out cold by an ex boxer defending himself. Sweet, sweet justice.
it's gone viral on the twitters. I don't think the bloke is getting too much sympathy. also found it quite funny to see his mates' reactions, who immediately get a lot less aggressive!
all that said, there might be some aftermath to this. Julius Francis' fists are potentially lethal weapons. he's sparked him out cold. he literally could have killed him, either directly from the punch, or from head contact hitting the ground.
Francis will say it was instinctive self defence, and with the knife crime problem in London, that's probably a fair shout. but yeah. could have ended really badly.
The ginger beard lad was the best, squares up to the smallest bouncer giving it all that then when his mate gets sparked he's 'there's no need for that'
I’d say it did for the nob.
Don't think there will be any repercussions other than a bit of a slap on the wrist. Quite rightly being fully supported by the owner of BoxPark (below). Never is the video that goes viral a true and accurate account of what happened before someone hit record.
Got to agree that seemed uncalled for. Yes he's clearly acting like bell. But he was actually moving away, and he completely blind sided him. At the point he threw the punch nobody was in any danger.
I suppose if you employ a former professional boxer as a bouncer you know what you are getting.
****** to him......he’d gave it the big un’ and he’s paid the price, what about if he would’ve connected with one of his own on a innocent person? No sympathy
That’s basically my take on it Rob,
for the record, I'm not defending the bloke that got cracked. in all balance I'd say he deserved it, and hopefully he thinks twice next time. you could see from just the clip that Francis and the others were trying to calm the situation.
Sorry but the bouncer was wrong to hit him. The barmpot was walking away. The boxer/bouncer walked around to meet him, he should have stayed where he was and let him go. Francis could be in bother with the Police and his employer could be facing a civil action. The lad he decked was an imbecile but nowadays bouncers are trained not to react like that.
Must be knocking on now Joe Joyce,he played for us in the 70s and 80 s
Watch at 0:48. He wasn't walking away, he was walking directly towards the bouncer and raised his arm, whether to point or throw a punch wasn't clear. He had every right to instinctively defend himself.
Was walking towards him for me he did right people think they can go about make threats etc but some people wont take kindly to it.
Especially when you listen to the abuse levelled their way in the video alone, and you take in to account that these people had been threatening staff, customers, spitting, throwing punches, and causing general unrest to people for 15 minutes prior to what we've seen on video.
