Well I think it's bloody ridiculous Like dealing with a spoiled fat kid who's taken his ball home. If I've understood correctly Davey wanted some parts of a radio interview scrubbed. If he didn't want to have his words aired he shouldn't have bloody said them. Learn a lesson and move on. Sort it out Barnsley, you're only hurting the club - it needs the media more than the media needs it.
However Il'd be prepared to bet that Washday would get their own weay without a struggle. Its abart time we stood up for ourselves.
RE: Well I think it's bloody ridiculous I know, it's stupid! Should just get over it and move on. Let the media do it's job properly
RE: However Why, what's to stand up for? They did an interview with Davey, putting some valid questions to him, to which he responded. Outrageous that - having the temerity to ask proper questions covering fans views and concerns, rather than the same tired old best buddy type platitutes. Call themselves journalists.
Irrespective of this incident do you honestly believe we get a fair crack of the whip from radio dee dar?
RE: Irrespective of this incident Hmm, that's a difficult one. If it was Hallam I'd say that it was more than fair as we could expect no less than for them to chase a commercial advantage and you are going to get that by following the teams with the biggest following in the prem - the Blunts. But as it's a BBC station they should have a general public service remit in mind, although they are going to go for audience size to a large extent as well. So, all in all, I think that our share of the cake is about fair - could be better, but fair enough. They are listed as going to Stoke on Monday - they could have not bothered.!
