I am absolutely chufffed wi that, but did not see it coming. I thought Leeds woulda come at us for blood after we beat them at BellEnd Road. One thing I think is worthy of note is the fact that our 'Golden Child' was off after just 15 minutes. It all happened after that, hmmmm is there a message there perhaps?
Yes the message is that Leeds game plan was to stop Buttefield as they obviously thought he was our major threat Luckily we arent a one man team these days and Vas Te hurt them in ways they obviously hadnt thought about must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the way we steamrollered them 2nd half
then do you think also...that inadvertantly they shot themselves in the foot with perhaps the attitude that it was job done by taking out Butterfield.Perhaps sat back a bit and were caught out by Mr Vaz Te . I hope Butterfield is ok , but Mr Hill says 3 weeks + . That could take him out of the transfer window. Is that a good or bad thing. Good as we would have him till seasons end..bad as then he can go for virtually nowt.
Re: then do you think also...that inadvertantly they shot themselves in the foot Think if it gets to the end of the season with him under 24 it would still go to a tribunal and we'd get something
That was the virtually nothing I mentioned and today showed that he is in fact NOT the only player in a red shirt as some seem to think. And that NO we do not collapse without him. If that Man City lad is fit get him and hopefully Drinkwater back. Maybe a one or two more.Take the top price we can for Jacob, would be my way.
