Have we ever had so many shots blocked in a game?

    Clearly Charlton deserved to win and win well for which you'd give their attacking players credit, or blame our defence, depends which way you're inclined. But for a team that lost 6-0 we got in a hell of a lot of good positions and hit dozens of shots at goal, but ever single one of them seemed to get blocked. Never seen a defence protect their keeper so well.

    They beat us at our own game. Fair and square. We just imploded, in the most catastrophic way, Tuesday is pretty much make or break.

    I didn't go today, but can anyone remember Tranmere away in 1994 or 1995. We lost 6-1 but it was one-sided in the other direction and we outplayed Tranmere for large parts of the game...

    We actually had more shots on target than they did

    According to the BBC we had 10 shots on target to thier 9

    we had 14 shots in total and they had 15

    Charlton were the better team and deserved to win but that scoreline was a freak I just hope we put all this months bad luck into one game
