Have you got ZoneAlarm and use Windows Updates?

The latest Windows Update is causing problems for ZoneAlarm users - Basically, you can't get on the net once you've installed update KB951748.</p>

i dont have a firewall, i cant find any that are compatible with vista

 

You have to go into ZA panel and reduce the Firewall slider from High to medium setting, but if you are reading this then you are obviously not experiencing any problems. So cazi and I are both wasting our time!!!!

 

It's not a waste of time if you can forewarn people what they may expereince

They say you can get onto the net by altering the security level to medium, but it's not recommended as you're security is vulnerable.

 

I'm running McAfee, including the firewall, came installed on the PC and seems to be running ok. I think Vista has it's own firewall as well.
