A disappointment, but life goes on. Just want to thank Emma at YAS for sponsoring me. Good luck to those who have been chosen
Hard luck mate You still going to watch it? It's going right past me mam's front door so I'll be watching it.
I know I'm somewhat biased But, in my honest opinion, you should have been chosen and would be a worthy torch bearer. No bull.
Re: I know I'm somewhat biased Look, if you don't give over, we'll have to get a room!! ;-) It would have been nice, especially to share with the grandkids, but life goes on, and I'm sure they'll prefer going swimming on sunday;-)
If it's any consolation Every single nomination our organisation made has been knocked back. The nominations included people who we felt were worthy nomineed ... people with a lifetime of volunteering in disability sport; people who have become inspirational role models in the face of adversity. Every single one of them rejected. Very disappointing, and it does make you wonder what they were looking for.
Lass I work with has been chosen not that I care , I am at a loss as to how almost 20 billion yes BILLION can be justified when hospitals are closing, Police are being taken off the beat etc etc etc.
