you're of a certain age, I for 1 can remember the really dark days as far back as when Hiley was in charge, desperate times indeed, very small crowds shocking football, the outlook bleaker than a Pikey's shower block, even in the recent past our sojourn into League 1 was completely devoid of highlights with the exception of our playoff final win, and because we've suffered and endured those times the thought of them returning are haunting our expectations for the future. As for the team now, all it lacks is proper leadership the difference on Saturday evening was plain enough for us to see Warnock is and has been a real manager learning his trade through the leagues seeing mistakes then putting them right, Davey on the other hand makes the same mistakes over and over again, if we persevere with the current manager the dark days of League 1 will inevitably return.
Yes they are route 1, but results speak for themselves....... 3 on the spin, we beat Donny with 10 men play well confidence should've been sky high next game we looked like a team of strangers.
RE: It also shows Warnock likes to lump the ball up front nt Have we not done that to KO and funnier still to Macken and Hume?
