Firstly, brilliant production by the cameramen and commentators. Good angles, plenty of replays of key events and a fantastic commentary which was pretty much synchronised to the second. Then comes the confusion! This is NOT the Barnsley that I saw limp through a match against Birmingham. This is NOT a bottom of the league team playing in red. Just goes to show the quality in this division when the team in 24th spot can outplay a highly placed team, on their own ground, in front of 25,000 of their fans. Brings it home to me more and more how much we need to stay at this level. We will not have this quality of players in the team next season if we are relegated. A bit about the performance - magnificent just about covers it. Butland pulled off some terrific saves again and looked the top-drawer goalkeeper that we shouldn't really have at our club. We've got him for a bit longer - wonder what the chances are of a season-long loan though? If only.... Wiseman and Etuhu - superb covering job all down the right flank, both of them. Think we should persevere with this. Defence looked solid all round with Ramage a cut above M'Voto, but that is to be expected given his career so far. Cranie and Kennedy hardly a mistake between them. Midfield looked well-balanced. Paddy with the go where you like role, and he did it SOOOO well. Mellis similar, but further back with an outstanding goal on top. Perkins and Etuhu - hard work and plenty of positive movement. Tudgay - cannot believe he has had no game time this season. He was making tackles in 97th minute!! But what a pair of brilliant assists for the goals. Top quality player, no doubt. Finally, the refereeing. I wish they would come out and explain why every time a red shirted player commits a bad foul it's a yellow card, but NOT the other way round. Puzzling that. Having said that though, Tutu got away with a clumsy challenge in the box early second half - looked a penalty. Great stuff Barnsley so how about doing it again tomorrow? We've won at Burnley before so we can do it again - can't we?
