You could argue that it was a bit harsh and maybe only warranted a booking, but on the other hand he went in with his studs up and caught Foster high on the shin. Sometimes you get away with it, sometimes you get sent off. Surprised both managers were so adamant it wasn't a red card with Hill even calling for it to be rescinded. If I were on the disciplinary panel I wouldn't be overturning it. Excellent finish by Davies for both goals though. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15812312.stm
I thought it was a red at the time, that was a blatant attempt to injure Foster and done with venom after the whistle had gone.
Only seen it on the TV and my view is it was harsh - I've seen a lot worse only get a yellow and if it have been the other way around we wouldnt be happy at all Dont think its a wrong enough decision by the ref to get it overturned though Donny player had no need to clash with Fozzie as they had already got the foul Not quite sure why Hill gives a toss to be honest we have had worse decisions against us over the years - Foster being sent off for denying a goalscoring oppertunity when the opposition striker went on to force a great save from Steele is one that springs to mind
