I do so want Kayode to suddenly blossom and be "THE MAN"... he does seem a really nice fella and heart in reyt place etc etc ...but he is just not getting any better in my view...lets hope he will suddenly crack it and come good.

 

its a tough one to call - i have always been behind him (ooh er) but he is a very frustrating player.

He gets himself in to some very good positions, mainly due to his pace and power and he can frighten the living daylights out of any player in this league. However, he lacks composure - but, I'm sure this can be trained.

He was not ready for regular first team championship football last season, week in, week out. I think there was too much pressure on him. This was Davey's fault and a lot of weight was put on ODJ's shoulders due to Mostto's inability.

I don't expect him to suddenly score 20 goals next season - I just think if he is used in the right way, probably as an impact player when defences are tiring (and possibly Macken is too) then he could be very useful for us next season and maybe grab 10 goals or so.

I also think people are far too quick to jump on his back which will do him no good whatsover, for me, those chances last night werenot clear chances. Maybe the first one he should have tested the keeper more but he did well on the second and the keeper made an excellent save. People compare him to Regis, which is 'kin ridiculous IMHO.

 

How fecking dare you.

Having been at both games, I can say that Odejayi, as usual has been no worse than anyone else, especially the "£10m Brian Howard" who has been, like the last 8 months, fecking abysmal.
