Can't understand that if it's true

Good player...won't be easy to replace, especially given our circumstances. What could we get for him? 100 grand? 200?

    hope that falls through

come on Hayes show some loyalty and try your best to stay.

He works hard all the time, is as good as any striker currently at the club and will play regularly with no Constantine, not to mention that Sarfend are in an even worse position than us. He also provides good cover for the wide positions.

really hope he stays, wouldn't put it past GS though. "We all think we can stay up and are trying our hardest to achieve it by selling our best players"????????

    Hayes Will Stay.........

don't worry. If every rumour we heard on here was true then what a world it would be. Just another rumour and no doubt Davey will tell us he's injured at full time.

Sorry, but Southend are in a better position to us. They have a board that has backed their Manager, not had a knee jerk reaction. At th end of the season they will be above us.

Personally I would prefer a good replacement

Hes had loads of starts poor goals return for the number he has had.Powderpuff approach looks scared of any physical contact not really a midfielder OK he sets a few up but IMHO is a luxury that we are better off without at the moment.

    Probably Marc Richards

I'm hoping the events of this week will provide him with a new lease of life. After all, he hasn't been used much in recent months (mostly coming on a sub).

Personally, I hope Hayes doesn't leave. We need all the players we can get at the minute.

Campbell-Ryce flattered to decieve at Oakwell

He "looked good" on the ball, but ultimately did nothing with it. Personally, I'm not a fan of wingers.

Hayes voiced his desire to move back south earlier this season..

Heard his interview after Ritchie rejected a bid from Southend and he was saying how he was "happy to stay" because the bid had been rejected, but he wanted to go down South sometime soon.

Yep. After the play off final his dad told me that he wanted to go back down south sooner rather than later. This prospective switch with Campbell - Ryce seems to make sense.

RE: we do need cover for Devaney but i'm not sure we should lose another striker

thats leaves just two. if they got injured or sent off today we'd be knackered.
