Somebody pointed out further down the board that the midfielders were weighing in with more goals than the strikers. The problem with that is ........what?

This is a problem that we've had over a few years and now it's the midfielders are scoring more regularly .

With regards to Hayes , this years 'target' for the moaners , who is the one whose setting the goals up? How many assists has he got this year? The ball to Deveany in the Tranmere game was a great example. I'd like to see him getting a couple more but if he's setting them up for others then that's okay by me!

    Agreed

Chelsea don't lose too much sleep about their midfielders bagging most of the goals.

    Also

Maybe ...just.... maybe one of the reasons that our Midfield is scoring is the strikers are creating the oppertunities, either directly - or indirectly by pulling defenders out of position.

    Just a thought like...

5 goals by 5 different players is good enough for me

    RE: Also

Also correct... see Hayes setting up three yesterday as a prime example.

    RE: Also

5 goals by 5 different players is the ideal, surely. We've not had problems scoring or making chances so I don't see what the fuss is.
