    i know its nowt to do wi tarn but as its quiet
    just bought an hd telly n dvd player and waitin for sky hd so i will need cables

    are a 12 quid cables crap and 68 quiders what you need as mr "currys" says
    or are they all the same

    £12 + if I recall, works ok. picture quality fine.

    Which ever one you get - they all do same job. I have £12 works fine

    Just make sure they are gold plated - thats what i was told to look out for

    I got mine from play.com. I think it was around £7 and it is gold plated. It works absolutely fine and the picture from my Xbox and laptop is tops. I was told exactly the same by "Mr. Currys" and I'm glad I saved myself that £60.

    Since HDMI cables transmit digital data

    the quality of the cable shouldn't matter. A cable will either work or it won't.
