Possible cheap alternative what abut asking Rotherham about Robins he's a young manager who is rated by a lot of people, used to working on a budget, believes in playing good football and has played at a decent level himself

Seriously, who would you bring in?

Because the managers you mention in your title above are pretty pathetic names to throw into the ring.

Boothroyd had success at Watford, playing the most undesirable football in the division, and was disliked by the Watford fans as much as Davey is by ours.

As do most experienced managers but they also have some experience of success as well. Davey doesn't and IMHO isn't ever likely to.

no he has'nt he's just shown remarkable loyalty in this day and age and thats commendable (might have been tempered by the barmy decision to give Davey a 4 year contract mind) but he's just given the guty every chance, Its just that now IMHO enough is enough

Like he sorted Leicester's midfield out? And Palace's strikeforce?

    Try again.

We'd end up with Joe Lewis in midfield FFS!

This is a terrible situation to be in. I will be honest and say that i've never liked Davey, his tactics baffle me and drive me mad til i end up like a screaming banshee (doh) (banghead)
I want him gone but on the other hand who are we going to get that's any better or that will be prepared to come to the club??
    This is a nightmare

You will have to temper your thoughts with one more.

Could we possibly get anyone who would be worse than Davey is currently. With the exception of Johnny Coachman.

I have supported Davey and believe the club does need stability. However, after this defeat his job must be hanging by a thread.

I fear a defeat on Tuesday could spell the end.

You're probably right, what could be worse?
If we are getting rid we need to do it now before anymore damage is done, we need a new manager to try and keep us in this league not to get us promoted from division 1 when Davey has taken us down.
I heard that the club couldn't agree with Coachmans wage demands :D
