    ... has just phoned to say someone is calling to collect his bag for playing football tonight (i.e. would I get his kit ready for him)..... he asked for a towel, some trousers for going out & a shirt & shorts for playing in ......

    Guess what I'm thinking of doing.... :D :D :D :D

    Now which one shall I go for ... last season's away shirt, or something in bright red ... :D

    First one I went for was the green big thing one, but can't find it .... he's getting a MEDIUM bright red shirt with Barnsley building society plastered all over it.
    That should be suitabley uncomfortable.

    Here's hoping he see the funny side. :D

    :D thats brilliant, done similar before to a mate of mine who supports Donny. Needed to borrow a plain red shirt for a macth, ended up with one ive got thats two sizes too big, (bought it at the end of the season on the cheap and it was the only size left XL)

    he was going to play "skins" but mustered an alternative shirt. I'm sure they were queueing up to offer him one.

    Flipping missed it last year. Be just my luck to be trudging out of there at 5pm, same old miserable feeling.

    Aye. We've all been there. Number of times I've gone there for match after march and seen us play them off the pitch and end up losing. The only time we won - last season, the game had been moved to half term and I was away on holiday. I listened on Barnsley World and then couldn't listen for the last 10 mins in case we threw it away again. I sent him 30 texts that night, none of which were reciprocated Ha ha.
    Just my luck, to morrow will be more of the same.
