Why would any one want to use an outdoor pool if it's pissing down anyway? And it does give a valid reason - that the water can cloud up so the lifeguard can't see bottom of pool. Also a torrential downpour could wash chemicals/dog **** etc into the pool.
du jour Honestly, the French on here is terrible sometimes. And don't get me started on the English. Saftey??? As Site Admin you should be setting a better example.
We do our best Frankly it's a thankless task but there are standards to be maintained. Somebody's got to keep Farnham on his toes.
So Eaststander pulls me up on content No big surprise there And Burgundy gets me on my French grammar plus d'une surprise
Most predictable outcome of the day It's a close call between that and my bet at Cheltenham being a massive flop.
RE: Most predictable outcome of the day I've seen Eaststander make grammatical errors before... should I feel obliged to point them out to him?
have you felt the weight of most dog turds? it would need a storm like the other summer to shift one.
That would depend . . . . . . on the spirit in which it was done. I'm only having a laugh with Farnham in the same way as he takes the piss out of me for asking policemen for help outside football grounds when clearly drunk. It's a banter thing. Having said that, I think ES is fair game for any minor infraction.
