Don't Cry For Me Argentina by Julie Covington......that was

the only damn song they seemed to have. It evokes memories of a wet, near-empty ground, night match under floodlights, smells of Albert Hirst's pork pies from the kiosk at the back of the West Stand, chants of "Iley Out" and sheer depression, and being able to walk from the back of the Ponte all the way round to a crash-barrier halfway up the stack on the Spion Kop!!!!!
I must be getting old, and have started to think of Graham Pugh's tache for some strange reason...........and Kenny Brown's.

I remember Rochdale doing a warm up to "The day we went to Bangor" at Oakwell. They then went on to beat us 3-0 and the telly cameras were there.

Also always fondly remember the bloke on the tannoy introducing "braaaaaaaataaaas" by Art Garfunkle.
