Think there was around 4 or 5 chucked out yesterday from where we were stood, don't know about other places.

Think they were kicked out for jumping up and down.

The last bloke they chucked out there were about 5 stewards pushing and pulling him down the stairs.

    Disgraceful.

We also got held by Police for 25 minutes before match because "there was some trouble, and it might have been you" when all we were doing was walking to the ground. I know they're only doing their job, but it doesn't take 25 mins to check some cctv and see that we had nothing to do with whatever went on.

    Still a reight day though!!

I was stood near the side and counted about 15 chucked out. Plus loads refused entry for varying invalid reasons. Always the same there and such a shame because it's always a good laugh and the home fans seem a good bunch. Great fun in the pubs before hand, got on well with home fans, Bradford fans and various hen parties. But then the animosity starts as soon as you get near Bloomfield Road.

Yeah he was in the group we were in that got kept back.

After being held held for 25 mins we were then told we could leave without the slightest hint of an apology.

If they would have said something like "sorry lads, we just had to make sure it wasn't you, you're free to go now and sorry for keeping you all this time" it wouldn't have been half as bad.

What happend with that fella they chucked out after the steward called him a knobhead? Seemed as though not liking being called a knobhead was reason to be chucked out.

If you thought stewards were heavy handed then the thing to do is to put in a written complaint to the Club and the local Police.

    It can make a difference.

I'm sure - the local Police: the football fan's friend. You'll be lucky if they don't blacklist you as a troublemaker.

When I had an issue with South Yorkshire Police following a match at Bramhall Lane I wrote a letter of complaint to the Chief Constable.
The Police took action to my satisfaction. Go about it in the right way and you can get things sorted out.

Maybe the club should have a word with Blackpool - treatment was appalling

Please PM with contact details and I will speak to the Supporters Trust board and get this raised with both clubs and the FSF.

Anyone else who thought they were treated badly or witnessed heavy handed behaviour by the stewards please contact me by PM or email paul @bfcst.org.uk (remove the space)

We'd had a few (as had most people) but we weren't doing anything other than thousands of other fans up and down the country were doing.

I know there's no point in complaining about it cause all they would say is 'were suspected of doing something' etc etc.

If we would have missed some of the match then i wouldnt have been happy at all. Good thing we set off to ground early.

If it was as you say, jumping up and down...thats the way the stand was damaged apparently, leading to the ticket sales being suspended for our match so I can understand them being a bit touchy about that, but tbh I didn't see any behaviour that really merited being slung out.
