http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2654993 Rain all day long, many hours showing as heavy rain including between 7-9 pm. If it gets called off again it wouldn't be a surprise.
Big chance it will be called off as City's pitch can't handle a downpour. Could work in our favour, give the lad's a rest.
The downpour has just this minute begun. And it's bad. If it's like this - as forecast - for the next 24 hours or so, it'll be called off.
No. Momentum is everything. Plus it's a rare chance for us to get to a game just round the corner. Rain bugger off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
According to the forecast its torrential all day. To be honest even if the pitch and stands dont flood I think it would work in our favour if the game was called off. High winds and torrential rain suits their game perfectly and definitely doesn't help ours. Plus if Hammills fit we dont really want to risk him on a wet pitch against a physical team.
The lads at school just on the road from Valley Parade ......... pi55ing it down in similar quantities to the cancelled JP match. Selfishly, suits me if its off, working in MK after 5 months on the bench and would have been gutted to miss a game 3 miles from home.
Games never used to be postponed when it rained unless it was really, really bad. The forecast is for rain all day today, but a lot of that is showers. It's also very windy which tends to quickly clear surface water. I reckon the game will be on. So expect an announcement in the next 10 minutes saying it's postponed.
Forecast says it's coming in from West - wind really got up here in South Manchester and looking gloomy but still not raining here yet.
It's kicked in here now but the wind is really up and - as Jay says- this might well reduce surface water. It's gonna be horrendous tonight if/when it's on mind!
