Need to get him sold asap then. If we can get £2m that's £150k for a replacement and £1.85m to bung under the mattress.

£150k!? Give over. There must be a 17 year old premier league player we can loan instead.

You do understand that so far this closes season we've spent £4.5mon players. And that's gone from a source at the football club

I'm not disputing what you've been told, but I can't see where £4.5 million has gone, unless that includes signing-on fees, etc.

Dont agree we should hold out for much more than £2Million - if thats all we are going to get we may as well keep him for the season - or sell him in January as long as he performs

That's what I was thinking, we've only paid a fee for five players.

I work it out between £2 million - £2.5 million, assuming we've not paid fees to take Ugbo and Williams on loan.

Another poster had it on good authority it was £3m. Wouldn't provide a breakdown though.

Surely not £4.5m? We've not spent a million on any one player, and quite a few were freebies

Weren't both Pinnock and McGeehan reported to be circa £1m including add ons?

    Pinnock was £400k.

People need to remember we wouldn't give George Williams a £6,000 pa pay rise. Does that sound like someone who would pay £1m for a 24 year old with one season in the Conference?

More likely to include salaries. (£5k per week = £250k per year for example)

Maybe but if includes salaries the money hasn't been spent this summer & we'd need to be paying some fairly large ones aswell.

George Williams' dad on here around the time he left.

The George Williams thing has been done to death, but for me he was our most consistent performer in the run in that season. He's gone back to MK Dons where he has just won player of the season despite being played out of position for a large proportion of the season.

Apparently irrespective of what he wants " he will stay at the Club and will respect that decision."
Arsene Wenger to-day on Alexis Sanchez who has expressed his wish to leave Arsenal.

Is that the attitude we should be taking with Yiadom or should we sell whilst we can get a fee
    for him.?

No because it puts off the unpolished jewels who might otherwise join us.

We are a small scale specialist concern and we need raw material to refine and make money out of.

Oh and we need 11 bodies to play in a red shirt 46 times a season as well.
