If you stand up and impede someone's view, you are an arsehole. In fact, If you do anything in life that impedes someone's enjoyment of anything, you are an arsehole.
You are aware that persistent standing up will end up with parts of the stands being closed ? The pitch of the east stand would mean it is deemed dangerous for a start. Especially upper tier. Plus, I attend with my ten year old. If everyone in front of him was stood up, he’d see nothing. I agree with the sentiment about getting behind them but until they approve (and we install) the new safe standing it isn’t a viable option unfortunately. As and when that happens those who prefer to stand will have the option.
What if you’re 80 years old? What if you have problems with your legs? Do you think it’s ok to stand up in front of small children so they can’t see the game? I’ll wait for a response Thanks
Palace stand up all game in the main stand home games been to few games there and atmosphere is always brilliant
Wonder how the hell i managed to see any football as a lad, especially in packed away ends like Rotherham and the leppings in the late 70s early 80s. I did though, despite fearing for my health and safety a lot of the time. And we have people now complaining about all-seater stadia.
