If someone said you have to race against Audi R8s and you have to drive a basic Vauxhall Astra but you're expected to compete, we'll give you a few untried modifications to make your car better but if the mods prove to be good we're going to take em off your car and sell em what chance do you have! No matter how good a driver you are you have got no chance. Let's get real no one and I mean no one in that circumstance would be in the race, imagine how frustrating that would be when you're driving that car and you love it but can't make it better!
Have you been away this last few months? Haven't you heard? We just bought a new car. We bought it from the Ganaye Dealership. We are waiting to see what it looks like. There's been a delay on the delivery date - but with all accounts it should be a bit more nippy when it arrives. Plus the driving seat pushes further back so we can get taller drivers in. Which obviously means a bigger booit.
Good analogy, but the cars we're racing against are all on finance, and will probably never be paid for. Just look at this as an example. It's not current, but shows that most clubs are living well beyond their means. https://www.insidermedia.com/insider/national/football-finance-championship-club-by-club-2015-16 Imagine if the FA said that every club in the top two divisions had to operate within their turnover and had to stop borrowing or being gifted money. No sidestepping or getting around it. It would be absolute chaos. How the hell some of these clubs have been allowed to accumulate so much debt is crazy.
