At the start of the season I think everyone at Barnsley Football Club would have snatched their hand off if offered a mid table finish. But as it stands - it's been a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT To the extent that I've lost faith in the directors taking the club forward. No matter who they sign in the close season - I know it's just a temporary measure that at best can only bring temporary success.
Speak for yourself. I'm looking forward to the remaining 5 games, hopefully 60 plus points and taking the away wins into double figures. The club has come a hell of a way over the last couple of seasons and is in a good place. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I'm 52 & I'd say that the last 2 seasons would be in my top ten & that includes the prem season, promotion year, the year we got to the playoffs, a few years with Glavin, Futcher, et al, semi final of cup... I lot to be proud of
Some outstanding individual performances and teamplay, gave Wednesday a runaround last week with a little investment up front who knows I think expectations have been raised now competed with energy and passion in every game.
Great young team, and a far cry from the days of journeymen and lots of foreign players. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I think it is a different approach from past teams the side that got to FA Cup Semi Final and the team when Adam Hamill was here first time around had some good moments but when you consider that relegation from Championship 3 years ago and offloading of senior players makes this seasons achievement with a much reduced budget even more remarkable. and they deserve to finish the season strongly.
