Just got a text from a mate, says he fell a sleep on train from Sheffield and ended up in Huddersfield, has to wait 6 hours for next train because he cant afford a taxi. I shouldnt laugh really
It once happened to me in the mid 80's aftre an afternoon session in sheffield. i woke up in bradford... no money either... but the driver showed a tad of sympathy and i got the return trip free. took forever though! maybe cos i was rueing the sleepover!
Dangerous - I once fell asleep on way back from work to Barnsley station when I worked in Leeds, but just woke up as the train pulled in to Wombwell! Not so bad as yer mate.
Either text him back to tell him to go to nearest police station, see if they can help him, OR ring him to tell him you're comfy in bed and he's disturbed your sleep then piss yerself laughing and hang up!
I was thinking along the lines of "Go to the police station and say "I caught train and the ticket person said he'd wake me up once we got to Barnsley but he didnt"
On another occasion a close friend fell asleep at mine one evening and we let my 4 year old go to work on his face with paint. He didn't notice until he'd got home aftre catching a bus and train the next morning. woops!ff
