REDS goalkeeper Heinz Muller has set his sights high after helping guide the team up the Championship table in recent weeks.

Heinz said: "We have worked hard and deserved to have a couple of days off but we are right back at it and will be well prepared for Burnley. We now have a lot of games in a short space of time but that is just something we just have to live with. It will be a tough few weeks but we are well prepared for that and we know it will not be a problem for our squad at the moment.

"The Championship is a great league but it is tough and very tight. Anything is possible and we have been competing well against some very good teams. We will have to see how we do when we get to 20 or 30 games but I think we can be satisfied with the start we have made.

"Everybody watches English football and I was very pleased to have the opportunity to come here and play. It is a tough level of football and the game is played a little differently to what it is in Germany but I am enjoying it. You get a great feeling from the crowd and I am very happy.

"Every player needs targets and you can never just be happy with playing in the Championship. Of course I would like to play in the Premier League and I always want to better myself. You have to target the highest level otherwise you will get sloppy and never improve. A player can never just be satisfied with playing in the Championship when you can achieve the Premier League. I have been told about things written in the newspapers but that is just speculation and there is nothing in it.

"Anything is possible here and I can see no reason why Barnsley cannot get to the Premier League if we keep playing the way we have done in the last few weeks. The test will come when we lose a couple of games and football can change quickly. We will have to see how we react to some defeats but I am confident that we have enough strength to cope with that. We will have to see how we go.

"To be honest I have heard very little about Burnley but I do not care about them. The ball is round and the game lasts 90 minutes so it is up to them to come here and beat us. We are a good team here and are not easy to beat at the moment. We will only get better with each game we play together as a team. We are still learning and can always improve.

"I can always improve my game and I am never happy with the way I have played. I can always pick on something to work on and something I need to improve from each match. You always have little things you can work on to make better no matter how well the team has played. I have to be honest with myself and I know that I can always improve and will work hard to be a better player".

And as he's proved already, there's not much gets past him...

  5. "For those not registered" - never quite understood that...

If you are reading this, you are a Barnsley fan with access to the internet so why on earth would you not be registered? Are people so paranoid they do not want to write their names and addresses and emails down or something? I know the official site is not the best read in the world but it is all we have for "official news" so why rely on someone here posting stuff?

Always been puzzled about that - maybe a non-registered person could explain why they are not.

  8. Good point, hadn't thought of that

Won't explain it for all of them though will it? Nice of the MOD to let me keep up to date with the important stuff in the world. Won't let me log into Barnsley World though so I have to do that at home :)
