Fairly easy to install but you need to know what type you have in already It should be on your original invoice - but if you have lost that you can usually find it from an online supplier eg http://www.offtek.co.uk/desktopmem.php?maincat=1&subcat=2 (or click the tab at the top if you have a laptop.) Also worth checking you actually have a free slot
RE: Fairly easy to install http://www.ramcity.com.au/module~Packard Bell~iMedia~1208~KIN1-PIA120-1G-01~KNM7557/Kingston.htm Thems what i want. Can i take my original memory out and put 2 new one's in?
Are we talking about a desktop PC here? If so, yes it is easy to install. Sticks of RAM - exibit A [img=http://www.buildyourown.org.uk/images/photos/dimm.gif] fit into DIMM slots on motherboard - exibit B [img=http://www.buildyourown.org.uk/images/photos/b_mboard.jpg] The sticks of RAM are asymmetrical - there is a missing pin on the edge connector of the RAM (or 2 depending on type of RAM) which engages a peg in the motherboard slot. This prevents incorrect orientation so you cannot put it on upside down, back to front etc. The only trick is to buy RAM compatible with your system. You can either take the existing RAM out - they usually have a sticker on with the spec, or if you know the make and model of your system/motherboard, you can look it up on www.corsairmemory.com and find out which parts are compatible.
Pretty much Thats an impressive price though - why the link to an Aussie website -thats 3 times the price you'd pay in the UK! If you want an idiots guide http://www.offtek.co.uk/product.php?manuname=Acer&maincat=1&subcat=2&model=Aspire L200 and click the install guides tab
ES slipping up again it should be" advice" with a c and not an S Come on you are not policing this board to the standards!
