Well having had a gander at the online club shop looking for a decent t-shirt to show my support for my team as I plan to go on my summer holiday and spread the word of Barnsley F.C. I was totally dissillusioned. The stickyback plastic efforts that would put many traders on Barnsley Market to shame. So, although not professing to be the most creative of types out there I thought I'd have a pop at designing a t-shirt myself and don't you just know it.... it became addictive.

Ok, I'm not exactly t-shirt designer of the year but it's a start. The t-shirts from spreadshirt are of a decent quality and p&p is fairly cheap.

Although probably not in the same league as Sunderland's efforts this is probably where I took the inspiration from.

Are there any marketing or creative types out there looking to help. If anyone has any ideas for slogans or designs, photos that they wouldn't mind being printed on a t-shirt or pointers for how to promote the website or whether I should take this idea to B.F.C. reply to this link or drop me a PM.

T-shirts, by the fans for the fans...

Just added a small comission onto each design. The basically handle all the printing, despatch and monetary transactions. Happy to give a cut to someone who comes up with a design!

    There's a few more sites...

...but it pains me that there's no reference to Barnsley.

    http://www.philosophyfootball.com/

    http://www.goalhanger.com

...even Wednesday's got a Lee Bullen effort on tshirt365.com

There's just this section on the footees website that shows reference to us...

    http://www.footees.co.uk/acatalog/Barnsley.html

This section shows a strange collection of Barnsley 'legends'

Does anyone know how you can create a silouhette as per the Che Guevara image?

    Can you image a:
    Refearn,
    Glavin,
    Banks,
    Futcher?
    Currie!

    Effort of the sam ilk?

suppose it all boils down to what words and images are Barnsley FC trademarks

and im 100% sure they will hate this T-Shirt site and are actively trying to shut it down now - because they dont want other people knocking out merchandise.

    I think its sound.

Maybe if they had the initiative and the right prices then these things wouldnt happen.

    Nice work.

I've designed one that simply says:
"We all want to boff Paul Reid's Missus".

I bet she's gagging for it too - as he's miles too slow to catch her.

    What about these player slogans:

Colgan - "I've got Irish splinters in my arse".
    Hassell - "Ginger Genius"
Reid - "Keep your hands off our lass"
Hecky - "I'm as bad as my hair"
    Togwell - "I'm Pob, me"
Howard - "Show me the naked press-ups"
McCann - "I'm smart enough to drink in Rotherham during the booze ban"
Devaney - "Lucky heather? Clean your spoons?"
Istvan - "I undertake any of your works. Be very cheap good price"
Nardy - "Wake me up before the rello"
Mattis - "Oh Bury me - far away please"
    Williams - "Midfield Maestro"

    Any others?

    good work

although the mattis one would be better as:

Mattis - about as useful as a splinter in the harris
