    Excuse my ignorance, Ali

But, does this have anything to do with these adverts I've been hearing on the radio about patients going to hospitals for chemo(sp?) or other special treatments and being hit with a hefty bill to park their car?

    Ouch

Luckily with the bike I don't have to pay when I visit the hospital, but for others, it is extortionate.

I bet all hospitals are the same

look at the fiasco at Poggy, that many parkers in streets council propose a residents only parking scheme, then that gets dropped cause residents dont want to pay ?? but there doesnt seem to be much going for the residents at £20 a car a year or whatever; compared to visitors to hospital at £12 a DAY. Dont slag the residents cause Im one........

Even those with Blue Badge pay at Barnsley

Don't at Sheffield Children's, think we had to at Hallamshire.

    RE: Bloody hell

Done - Lost two members of family to cancer in last 18 months. My mum spent £252 in one month at one point in car parking fees but what else could she do!
