Just bought an LG wireless home cinema system and in the process of setting it up. I noticed on the back of the DVD player it has a red and white sockets with AUX-IN and on the back of my tv it has the same red and white sockets with AUDIO OUT on. Do I need a lead to connect the tv to the dvd so as to enable me to listen to normal tv through surround sound on the dvd system or will it automatically be enabled to do this via scart?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm just about to nip over to Currys for something so if I do need the lead I can get one while I'm out!
    Cheers

Well, thing is I've gotta nip over to Curry's to get a European adaptor as the plug is a 2-pin one so can't set it up yet so could have kiled two birds with one stone, ah well, will give it a go without the lead!
    Thanks!

You'll need an audio lead to send sound from your tv to the av controller (via aux port). Your scart simply takes video and sound from your dvd to your tv.

You should only have to connect it through the scart then it will route the signal back through the scart lead. You should set the HC System to TV. You will the sound that is relevant to the picture immaterial as to whether you're watching sky, analogue etc..

The aux sockets are for stuff such as tape decks etc..
