Help needed on unlocking phones !

    Its going to cost me £15 to get two phones unlocked,then i saw something on Ebay for £1.99,it says it will unlock any phones i think it comes in the form of an e mail,does anyone know if it would be any good or should i pay the £15 at the shop.

    they might simply need a code entering.

    The v200 is locked to o2 and i want to put my vodaphone sim card in and the gx30 was a contract phone and we want to put the o2 card in.
    we are just swaping our phones round

    try these

    in the samsung v200 try putting this code in
    *2767*7822573738#

    you might need to put the vodafone 'non accepted' sim in before that works.

    or failing that try this

    V200 unlocking procedure if the other code doesnt work
    Enter each line and wait for handset to fully reboot before entering the codes on the next line.
    After the last set of codes have been entered the handset will be unlocked - BUT REMEMBER - back up your phone book etc first!!

    o2 phones normally don't need unlocking. I went from o2 to Vodafone and my Vodaphone sim card works in all my old o2 phones.
