help needed USB 2.0 video capture..

    I need a cheapish (around £50) way to transfer my videos to DVD. Does anyone know if those USB 2.0 cables with integral video capture boxes are any good... e.g. Dazzle Platinum or TERRATEC Grabster AV250 USB 2.0 video card? Anyone recommend one of these or another make that doesn't drop frames and gives a decent quality transfer?
