My TV system is a complete mess up with Analogue and Digital mixed. How easy would it be for one Central Box in HD and the ability to watch a separate sky channel in either the kitchen or lounge not in HD but normal. Would they need to take wires around the house for this.

Sky are quoting me £70 a month for the package (all but Movies) no phone or Broadband included.

Do Virgin do a package and is it any better ?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Virgin doesn't have much HD, but would be cheaper for subsequent boxes I believe.

You sure about the £70 a month, that should include movies at that price, i.e. £50 for everything, £10 for HD sub, £10 for multiroom sub.
Wires would come from dish to HD box, and also from the dish to the additional box - so will run outside to the room you want them in.

There's a cable from the dish into each room

You also need a phone line going to each room as well - we've got cables from the phone point downstiars to the upstairs rooms. Thye have to be connected to a phone line or sky will threaten to charge you full price for each one - we pay £10 extra per room

    So

with Sky, can't you record a show and then broadcast it (from one central digi-box) throughout your home at a later date?

    RE: So

You could if you just ran a cable from that box elsewhere, or used a magic eye.
