We have 2 vacancies one for Treasurer which we can't run without. The second one is dog coordinator which without one we will have to stop rescuing and rehoming dogs. TREASURER The Treasurer plays a key role within RAW managing our finances. Main tasks will include dealing with invoice payments, recording all cash and cheque receipts and banking, as well as dealing with any payment requests and preparation of year-end asset reports. You must have experience in bookkeeping or accounts experience. The approximate time involved is 8 to 10 hours per month Full descriptions of each position are available on request. DOG CO-ORDINATOR This role involves liaising with the general public and other organisations to take in dogs and co-ordinate kennel placements Assessing dogs behaviour/ temperament, identifying any training needed. Vet runs- for health checks, vaccinations etc. Assessing what kind of home each dog needs. Dog walking and organising any dog walkers. Obtaining photos videos and doing a write up for each dog for various websites/ social media. Dealing with email and electronic forms from potential adopters. Arrange viewings and making handover appointments to potential adopters and dealing with the relevant paperwork regarding the adoptions. Access to transport / a drivers license is essential to carry out the role. dog co-ordinators role lends itself to jobshare if required. Full descriptions of each position are available on request.
