Were planning on going on Sat in the car but we thought it would be better to park just outside London and use the Tube ,id be gratefull for any advice as we usually go on the train so this is a new experience for us also how long will it take to get there.

    I use Uxbridge, but

can park on the RAF station being an MoD employee, BUT there is a big multi story thats very reasonabley priced and just a very short walk to the tube station(10 mins top) also Uxbridge has a very nice little mall there with some decent eating places too.

I always park at Stanmore because it's dead easy to get to (just off J4 of the M1) and there's a massive car park at the station which costs the bargainous sum of £1 per day on a Saturday or Sunday!! From Stanmore the Jubilee line runs straight into London - easy!! :)

    Depends on the traffic.
I'd probably give it about 3 hours.

I usually go to Rickmansworth and park there, its just off M25 and then its a 20 minute tube to central London.
Takes about 2 and half hours to get there, and there is ample parking
