    Me and my housemates are looking to buy or rent a television. We want a reasonable sized one (somewhere between 24 and 30 inch screen) but we're not bothered whether its 2nd hand, or whatever. We just aren't sure where to look and browsing the net has proved unsuccessful for one within our price range (we don't really want to spend much more than &pound;80 if we buy one directly) so we're looking at a wholesalers maybe? We obviously don't expect a plasma or LCD for that price, just an old traditional television. We're students at Leeds Uni.</p>

    Any suggestions please?

    are flocking to buy lcd/tft/plasmas so you should pick one up for a song.
