I'm trying to buy fitted sheets for a bed with an odd sized mattress.

    No idea about shopping!!!!

I tried looking by googling but got too much choice with too little information!!

Does anyone have any advice as sit will be the first time I have purchased anything like that (I've paid for plenty over the years but I've never had to choose it!!).

How complicated can they make it????!!!!

This is worse that going for washing powder and trying to work out which product I'm supposed to get when there's 1½ aisles of the stuff!

won't be cheap but you could try www.egyptiancottonstore.com

do you need really need fitted sheets?

If you can use the bog standard 'flat' sheets that you tuck under the mattress it'll be a lot cheaper and you'll have more choice - though I'm guessing the less choice the better????

And unless you're into frills you don't need a valance! :)

    Happy (zzz) s

I had a look at that but got a bit lost!!

When they quote a size, is it the sheet size or the mattress size?
