Help re laptop with internet please

    Does anyone know much about laptops that you can get connected to the internet anytime anywhere?

    I believe it involves having an internet card and obviously relies on a signal...

    Anyone recommend any good value ones that have this?

    Its not particularly cheap. </p>

    You but a 3G card for your laptop (sometimes free with a contract) but then you have to subscribe for 18 months paying roughly what you'd pay for a contract phone rental.</p>

    Then you have to buy data in bundles, anything over and above your bundle is then charged at a high price.</p>

    Maybe I'll have to reconsider!
