I just got a new k750i mobile phone and for the first time it has bluetooth on board. I never bothered setting up a PIN on my old phone, so this one doesn't have one yet either. If i understand correctly, I can put a PIN on the SIM Card (to be entered when switching the phone on) and a PIN on the handset itself (to be entered when I unlock the keypad). I managed to transfer a photograph to a friends phone yesterday (and their phone asked me for a PIN before the transfer took place). Any ideas where I set this up (or is it merely one of the two PIN codes above)? Would you recommend I set up all the PIN Codes on my phone? I'm using PAYG. TIA, Stephen
the pin for sendin bluetooth isnt really important, most of the time when u transfer something it will ask for a pin, the pin dosnt have to be on your phone, as long as both parties put in the same pin
Ah, thanks. So that's just like a "handshake" so to speak. Do you have a PIN set on both your phone and your SIM Card?
