My BT Broadband speed (according to I Player) is 0.87 whatever that implies. Thinking of changing to Virgin with speeds up to 5.0

Can anybody recommend Virgin and if I also changed the phone to them would I still have to pay BT for the line/equipment etc ????

    I've had very few problems.

You don't have to pay BT anything if you switch your phone andit's a similar line rental with Virgin. I'd say yes, look for the best deal and get it.

If your going to move to VirginMedia, sign up via Quidco and get £65 cashback. (less £5 annual fee if you aren't already a subscriber).

Just to give you an idea of prices I've got...

    10mb wireless broadband
    Weekend landline
All TV Channels (except Sports and Movies) with full on demand content
    V+ HD
    Extra box upstairs

    for £36.50 a month.

Now that's probably because I've been with 'em a couple of years but I can't fault 'em. Wouldn't be able to get that anywhere else for anything near that price.

    When you mention Weekend Landline

Is this full weeks cover with free weekend calls ?? My BT bill is between £40 and £50 a month.
