All of a sudden - When i try to download a file on the net via mediafire windows media center keeps opening up and the file doesnt download....... Ive never used windows media center in my life and dont intend to!!!!! How can i just get back to downloading files and finding em on my documents page etc...... Hope this makes sense. im no teccy as you can probably guess!!!!
It's difficult to diagnose but if its just started happening have you done anything since it started (installed a patch, bug fix, upgrade, etc? You could try disabling said item or change the configuration settings in the media centre. Another option is to run a system restore back to a date when you know things worked ok.
Windows Media Center would be brilliant if they sorted out all the little bugs, had it working a few times streaming through my Xbox and it was great (for a short time)...can't even find it in Windows 8 though?
