I have just bought a Dell Inspiron Mini. Very pleased with it. Also bought an external DVD Drive for it. I have installed this no problem, however, I can't get any DVDs to play as it says I am missing a codec. I have tried to download it from Microsoft but it still doesn't work. I have had this problem before and can't remember how it eventually got sorted. If anyone could help I would be eternally grateful. I bought the mini to use primarily when I am camping, so if I can't watch the odd film when it's raining, it defeats the objective of why I bought the Dell in the first place.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a go later on.
