I am using firefox and am pleased with it but it is being slowed down by 3 or 4 explorer pages being opened up by stupid stuff like UPS tracker or filmon - blatantly advertising and avoiding the pop up blocker somehow. Anyone any ideas on how to stop these lease? tHanks Chris

Only get the pop-ups where I've enabled them

You say the pop-ups are IE?

That suggests that you may wave some spyware or something.

That's exactly it - 3or 4 IE windows open up when I am in Firefox. I downloaded windows defender but it doesn't seem to have done owt - do I have to put it somewhere or activate it? Thanks agian</p>
