Phone a few friends up and get a game of football organised. Offer to go in goal

That should help the healing process.

On a more serious note, I have no idea sorry but a few people on here have had problems with their knees and had successful operations to sort it so you'll probably get some good advice. Hope it's nothing serious

If it's come about suddenly it's unlikely it's arthritis so I'd say cartilage mate.

If it's trauma damage and not wear and tear it may wellbe repairable so get yourself in for an xray soonest.

    Good news.

It'll either settle by itself or they'll fix it for you.

Now pack it in with all the macho stuff. Take it from someone who'd behave a bit differently if he had his time again.

    Or Dr Bryant.

There is also a physio Mr Hanley at the Keresforth Centre on Broadway who is good - your doctor can refer you to him.

    Glucosamine and RICE

Get yourself to the docs asap as waiting lists are daft. Took me 6 months to get an MRI.
