    I at present receive a state pension of 90 odd pound per week and a small company pension,my wife gets a state pension of just under 50 pound paid because of my contributions,what I would like to know is what she would get state pension if anything happened to me. thanks in advance.

    I think your wife's basic state pension would be made up to the full single rate, as she would inherit your contribution record. i.e. she would probaly get the full single rate of £90 plus that you get.

    Depending on her circumstances she might also qualify for some top up as well. Your DSS office / call centre could advise you.
