I'm hoping the good men and women of the BBS can help me please?! My phone has a 2gb internal memory and any app I use for downloading songs soon uses up all my memor . I've now bought an external memory card, but every app I've tried so far has no option to save songs to an external memory card! can anyone please recommend one that does please?
Thanks for help, although could I ask again please? I'm a dinosaur when it comes to technology, so could you post an idiots guide as to what to do please? I don't even know what an 'URL' is or where to find a mp3 convertor!
http://www.youtube-mp3.org/ mp3 converter and theres a URL in it its the address of the website you or on just copy and past what ever song you want into it
Thanks for your help, I think I've managed this but there doesn't seem to be a 'shuffle' option once I've done that. Is there? If so where is it? I was hoping to just use an app from Google play so as to not use my internet, could you advise one please?
for my phone i use spotify music its free and you can listen to loads of music but theres adverts sometimes before the song starts which for me i dont mind but adblock may or may not work on that im not too sure but for downloading songs for free on your phone i dont know any apps sorry
Thanks once again, does spotify save music to internal or external memory? This is so frustrating as seems like ive totally wasted money on a memory card, when there is no way to save music on it! Plus if i save music internally, i then use all my internal memory up very quickly as it only holds about 50 songs!!! Grr !!!
iv never tried to save music of spotify so i dont know if there is a way of actually saving it onto your phone
Spotify streams songs off the internet which obviously uses your data if you're not connected to wifi. If you upgrade to premium, you have the ability to save songs to your phone so you're not using your data when listening to them out and about. You can save these to an external memory card, I know this as I'm literally going to do the same thing in about 15 minutes as I've just bought a new memory card. Again this is only if you're a premium member (about a tenner a month I believe). On Spotify in settings, if you delete cached and saved data after you've put a memory card in your phone, all your music you download through spotify will be saved to your memory card from then on in. Again, this only works with spotify premium.
Once you've converted them to mp3 you can just listen to them through your device's media player which will have a shuffle option. 1. Find song on YouTube 2. Copy url 3. Paste url into mp3 converter 4. Mp3 saved to SD card 5. Play mp3 through device's media player
No worries. And YouTube has just about everything you'd ever want, I've never failed to find what I'm looking for.
