Herbie Kane on Twitter

I don’t know whether he’s purposely trying to wind the fans up or antagonise his employers but I really don’t like that message he’s out on Twitter to Kitching. He also was quite arsey with radio Sheffield when they asked him about a new deal.

Maybe it’s just me, but it’s things like that that rub the fans noses right in it. A text would have been better.

 

Don’t really see owt wrong with that. They are really good mates and Kitching us now probably set for life.

To some it will give the impression that Kane sees getting away from Oakwell akin to escaping prison....as I type this at 23:26 I think I agree with the sentiment.

Still no incomings, window shut, captain sold, no time to reinvest...a shambles really, I'd hoped for much, much better today.

 

Probably should read the room better and congratulate him privately which I'm sure he already has done?

He's put multiple things about it on his twitter (either posted or liked posts about the transfer), I'm certain he knows what he's doing or how it would appear to fans. We've got multiple players coming out saying we need reinforcements in and yet he's on social media congratulating our captain and best centre back on a move away from the club?

Yeah he's your mate feel happy for him but surely do this privately?

It’s a complete lack of respect. Normally I wouldn’t be arsed, but he was a complete **** on the recent interview and made some pretty sly comments. He’s trying to antagonise people.

Does it bother me? Not really. I can see straight through it.

 

Genuinely can't see the issue with it?...... A guy's moved clubs, it's hardly an emotional divorce.

Needs to add some goals or assists to his game and he probably would. I like Herbie tho, good player.

 

It's literally the bog standard "my team mate has signed for a new club" post. McAtee had posted the same thing 9 times this week.

 

Im not mate, but if you can’t see what he’s trying to do then I’d take a closer look and listen to his recent interviews and posts.

I personally don’t care too much, but I can see what he’s trying to do. Going out to cause a scene with supporters on Twitter is poor.

 

Well he'll be more likely back to Oxford than a team pushing for the Prem.
