For you young ones on here I hope you have not,
here is some examples of what i mean
simple one first,Darts,180,ive done many at home,but only ever one in a game with some one else.
have you gone round the Board,at singlles in 20 arrows,
Now thats easy,try it,
have you ever cleared the table at pool from break off,and not a fluke in it in a league match,
have you watched 4 persons play SOLO(CARD GAME)and each player have 13 of the same suit
Can you play 13 card brag,and seen an opponent not knowing which card to throw away
he had 4 aces,4 kings,4 queens,and the 3 of diamonds,in the end he slung his cards on the table...we paid up
for 3 aces,3kings,3 queens,and acq of diamonds

see what i mean you youngeer ones,if you have participated in these events, well done good on yer

Now how about this one,when i joined the club BIRDWELL WMC,at the age of 18, Sunday morning properly dressed in front of the Commitee,Oh yes we did it right in those days,you had to,or else....at the back of Birdwell was a Bowling green,a good one,CROWN GREEN bowling .besides playing snooker and billiards,i learned to play bowls,the next season 1947 entered the Knock out,and got 8 start...and would you believe it knocked out the Club team Captain, a Mr Whitely..now here comes the Ultimate,oh no not 1947..but 1968..many years had passed in my life,Army,work,tec,and i arrived here in IMMINGHAM 1968,besides working at Fisons,i was a part time Bus driver,fir EMMERSONS the local firm..and voulntered for all the sports runs ..this dau i was to take the Local Railway club to play Bowls at Barton, i picked the team up and set off....i had not gone far,when a chap came to me and said can you play bowls, well remembering those early days i said yes, ok he said we are short,you are Joe Bloggs,when we get to barton,,,NOW, i had never seen the Bowls they play out here,(LIKE THEY DO ON TELLY)12 players 4 teams 4 rinks,with all the scores added upat the end, now each team has 3 players,i had never bowled since 1947,so they made sure i was the last to bowl(MISTAKE)i soon picked up the jist of the game,and that early bowling soon came back, now,we are getting to the end of the match,and i suppose with me being in the team had slowed our rink down,i looked up i was the last end ,i saw all the other bowlers watching us,i did not know,then one of the players said we are level,its this last bowl you are bowling hangs the result of the match(TRUE)i looked there were 11 bowls around the Jack,i set it off,and they all watched my bowl,make its way right and rested right on the JACK,we won the game,and the captain who said i was Joe Bloggs,never let me forget it,in the club always a pint,out in the street it was hi JOE,even when i met the said JOE BLOGGS in person,that what i call the Ultimate

like the time playing football at Gibralter barracks Aldershot..i scored a 30 yarder+.the goalie was 9ft tall but it went in the top right hand corner like a bullet,i can still hear the crowd stampimg their feet in the stands, oh Yes thats the Best goal ive seen scored it came from my Foot,all others are second best ,dont care who is name is,Pele ,charlton,Hurst,Best,law,chapple,.they have no chance....
