Dont think we were far out with the predictions "POST MATCH REACTION FROM BLOOMFIELD ROAD Posted on: Sat 13 Sep 2008 REDS boss Simon Davey gave his thoughts following today's late, late defeat at Blackpool. Simon said: "To be fair the lad has pulled a world class finish out to beat us today. It was a great strike but there was nothing in the game. We were the ones pushing in the second half and I thought that there was only ever going to be one winner if the chance came. "The lad has pulled one out and we have come away with nothing. "There were a few decisions that went against us today but it seems as though all we are talking about is referees at the moment. The ball definitely hit his hand in the area but it went against us, as did most of the decisions today. "There was some magnificent defending out there today. Football has a habit of kicking you like that". ©WWW.BARNSLEYFC.CO.UK 2008 RNK
Don't know why they bother talking to him, just the same lame excuses every week. If we got every penalty Davey claimed we'd get 50 a season. Pillock.
Maybe he doesnt want to make Rob work too hard all he has to do is change the date, number of goals we conceded (though its usually 2 to make things easier and name of opposition. Everything else is just cut and paste
Funnily enough I was told the same thing a few weeks ago by a young man who is exceptionally likeable and who I hold in high esteem.
Many people I know in the press feel the same But unfortunately they have to speak to him as part of their job. Someone I know refuses to interview him anymore as it's a waste of time.
